Tinus Vermeulen

A farm boy from Kimberley, South Africa, born and raised, Tinus Vermeulen has been in the insurance industry for over a decade.

Matriculating from Boland Agricultural High in 2002, Tinus went on to study marketing in Stellenbosch.

Tinus got his start working at Blaauwberg meats, in Cape Town, as a wholesale meat salesman. Unfortunately, in 2004, he was recalled. It was his mother who first introduced Tinus to the insurance industry; an industry that she herself had been a part of since 1993.

Tinus undertook his training at Old Mutual where he was part of an award-winning team before he decided to make the move to New Zealand; and as they say, the rest is history. Tinus is a Registered Financial Advisor and represents a number of New Zealand’s biggest insurance companies.
